There are a huge number of type of connection in nowadays, Back in the year 2000, Dial-up type of connection are commonly used in every computers but now the common types of internet connection that are used by the ISP in Brunei Darussalam is :-

1. DSL
2. Optical
3. Satellite

1. DSL 

DSl or also known as Digital subscribe line is provides a high-speed internet services for homes and business by only using a phone line, Same goes to Telbru, DSL type of Internet connection are commonly used by people because of the high speed that still enough to handle their everyday activities like playing games, streaming , browsing internet and watching movie. The basic DSL can hold the maximum download data rates ranging between 1.5 Mbps and 8.5 Mbps. In fact, because of the technology advances, Telbru DSL can support maximum download data up to 20 Mbps.

2. Optical 

Fiber optic cable are the networking cable that provide a high performance data networking and telecommunication, This type of networking cable are designed for transmit data over longer distance in high bandwidth. Telbru fully introduce their optical fiber internet services or plan back in 2017, the technology can provide an internet rate download up to 300 Mbps and this type of internet connection usually used by a large business or a government sector.
